Last time I was there was probably 20 years ago - and, you're right, it is unbelievably bad - coming out of the train station, the view, everything, was unbelievably bad.

And as for going via Norwich - yeah, even as a non-Norwich fan, passing FCR on the train made me smile. As did the 2 windmill's en route as well. But that place that stunk of beet or whatever it was, big processing plant, they can f**k off, made me feel proper ill passing through there
