Looking at soccerbase...... jennings has been sent off twice before.

The last one was 15th Nov 2008 playing for Tranmere vs Southend.

Interestingly he got sent off in the 82nd minute for Motherwell and the 83rd minute for Tranmere.

Might just be coincidence! (read on, I think it is!)

Obviously if you were intending to get sent off in a game you would do it close to the end as possible so you have the least impact on the club you are playing for.

If you get sent off early you force your team to play most of the game with 10 men.

But here is where it gets interesting.......

In the southend match, southend player Francis Laurent was sent off in the 71st minute so if the bet was on a player getting sent off Jennings didnt have to get sent off (unless the bet was on a Tranmere player only)

So that kind of suggests he didnt throw that game. (unless the bet was for a tranmere player only)
