there is a danger newly-promoted clubs (players and fans) get caught up in the glamour of playing the big clubs and treat those as the big games, when in fact they are the least important of the season.
We played well on Saturday as we did at Chelsea, but neither performance helped us in our goal of staying up since even playing well still saw us beaten (as was always likely).
The week after the Chelsea game we played the Baggies at home, a game where playing well would quite likely have got us three crucial points, and we were a bit rubbish and lost. If we'd put in the Chelsea performance againt WBA and vice versa we might have got thumped at the Bridge and not got as many plaudits from the pundits but also we might well be three points better off than we are.
Worried that after Saturday the same thing might happen for the MUCH more important game against Swansea - but hopefully the two week break will enable us to put Old Trafford well behind us and get refocused on the task in hand.
