I never thought i would be coming away from Old Trafford and saying 'if only' to myself. Today was a bonus game and was an occasion to celebrate our premier league status. We certainly competed for 90 minutes and gave them a real test. Thought Wes, Johnson, Tierney, Bennett were outstanding. I agree with playing Morison up front on his own as it allowed Wes to have a free role and use Morison as a direct threat. Was surprised that Holt didn't come on instead of Martin and felt Holt deserved to play a part today after last season's performances, but Lambert does what he thinks is best for the team.

Have to say, Man Utd support is truly woeful! 72k home fans and yet so quiet! Wigan fans were louder than today.

Quite upbeat tonight even tho we lost. Every game so far we have competed, more so away from home. We just need to keep hold of Lambert to keep us up and progress further.
