All pundits, analysts etc...

And I didn't mean to not compare us to our fellow promoted sides, all of whom I think will stay up, but to compare us to the sides I mention at the same time.

Your stats show us to be well placed compared to the other two but if that eventually means we finish 18th and they 19th and 20th, then so what?

I don't think that will happen however, so show me some stats that give me reasons to be cheerful based on my gut feel, because I'm too lazy to go and find them!

There is one advantage of people packaging the "promoted sides" together. People tend, as I think several sides have already done, certainly Sunderland if Kieren Richardson's apology is anything to go by, to have as down to finish below them and a good bet for three points. The Sunderland game was a case in point, players and supporters of the Black Cats and even the pundits such as Robbie Savage (!) all thought they'd turn us over purely on the back of a 4-0 win.

In contrast to us losing our top flight status at the worst possible time, I think this is one of the best years to come into the Premier League so our focus (and thus yours) shouldn't just be about us, QPR and Swansea. There are a lot of very poor sides in this league.

Manage to stay up and we've assembled, in times of approaching economic hardship, an affordable team that won't need to disintegrate if the pips start to squeak. We will only get better and I think teams like Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn and others wil eventually fall away from this league as we establish ourselves.

Anyway, I'm waffling off subject now, unlike your artcicle. Have a nice day.
