we were rock bottom when he came in.

Its not like he took over a club which was riding high and had a great squad.

I think Worthy and Grant did far more damage as they had money and blew it.

I think Gunn gets way too much stick.

He bought Grant Holt when bigger clubs didnt want him.

He brought in a lot of players for very little money.

Holt has been worth multiple millions to us, Cody went for a decent fee and even players like Nelson made a little money for us.
Overall he did OK in the transfer market considering.

Even the Great Sir Paul got smashed in his first job with Livingstone.

Maybe Gunn wasnt the right man for the job but I think he meant well and just got the brunt of 5 years of frustration.
