With the help of the Oxford English Dictionary I've complied a list or alternatives to the word s**m.

Under the heading Ipswich, the dictionary contained the following explanations: debt-dodgers, mutes, binmen, hillbillys, cathedral-enviers, Essex wannabes, best side in the division (according to Joe Royle), cry-on-the-tellies, whistle-blowers, play-off chokers, Matalan salegoers, Dutch people that couldn't swim and 'here be dragons'.
