but we have world class Boxers (2) Cricketers (6) Rugby Players (2) F1 Drivers (2) then various in Athletics, Rowing, Sailing, Squash, Snooker, Darts..etc...

Some of them are as global sports as Cycling especially something like Athletics, we just had a World Championships to decide who are the world class and number 1 athletes in the world.
