I think it would be the right time to go for some Prem experience. By then we've given the boys their chance and one or two areas will still be lacking so no complaints if we splash a wad on one or two proven Prem level players plus a top Champs player.

I wouldn't have minded Yakubu to be honest but too late now. I honestly also thought we'd be an ideal destination for Owen Hargreaves - a man with a lot to prove but with undoubted ability. Can't really think of anyone at the moment though who would be a realistic target and genuinely improve the chances of survival!
