Just don't want him to be 'learning' on our watch for half a season only to come good when it's all too late and swan off back to Manure while we are facing the prospect of another Champs season. Would rather our own young CBs make mistakes and come good in the long term, atleast if they leave we make money.
Consistently good would be someone who might make one or two minor mistakes a game but doesn't deal in clangers. Minor mistakes can be recovered with good organisation, can't expect our keepers to save 15 pens this season.
