The rules on retroactive action need changing in my opinion

I aplaud the FA/FL for giving bans to thug players retroactively.

I dont understand the rule where if some form of action is taken by the ref its binding. (Rooney elbow last season)

If the ref only gives a free kick or booking for an offence that is clearly a red card then obviously he didnt see the incident clearly.

In both cases he didnt see the incident clearly so how does this undermine the referees in any way?

Nobody expects them to see everything with 22 outfield players, especially with incidents that are away from the ball.

The argument is its a slippery slope that would lead to any ref mistake being overturned.

I dont agree, you should just make it for violent conduct incidents only not game decisions.

Red cards are overturned all the time so I dont see the problem.

I find it amazing that players are still trying to stamp and elbow when every game has a multitude of cameras.
Do they think they will get away with it?

Personally i think for blatent stamping and elbows there should be at least 6 game penaltys and large fines (2-6 weeks wages)
Hit these f**kers where is hurts.
