If you then earn another ?10k you will pay PAYE ?2000 on that extra ?10k plus ?1,200 in extra NI

so you earn ?20k - total deductions would be PAYE ?2,505 and NI ?1,532.64 - Total ?4,037.64

In conclusion ....of the extra ?10k you would need to save ?3,200 of it.
