working in IT, various companies have favoured models.....

...the last place I was at favoured HP's - I f**king hate 'em - took me 2-3 hours to remove all of the pre-installed unnecessary s**t that was on them before I could even begin to put our applications etc on them.

NHS used Dell, which were more than reasonable.

Current place use Acer - I've not had to order one yet, since I started - but they're not using Acer's any more!
