My pick for biggest suprise player of the season so far is....

I think he is one player that I personally thought wouldn't get much playing time or would look a bit out of his depth in the PL.

I was obviously totally wrong on both counts.

The fact nobody is talking about him suggests how solid a job he has done against quality opposition.

He has made the LB position his.

I agree with others that the biggest dissapointment so far has been Surman, who looked a class above the champs at times last season.
I thought the PL would suit him perfectly but he looks totally devoid of confidence for some reason.
Hopefully he can turn things around but the good news is we do have other options now.
