I was at both births...

...and glad I was there, as decisions needed to be made which my Mrs was in no fit state to make on her own.

Nearly lost baby no.2 - f**k off big emergency involving a dozen different staff - longest 13 minutes of my life waiting to hear if baby and Mum were okay. Like being trapped in a really s**t episode of Casualty.

All fine now though. My daughter. Not Casualty. Which will always be s**t.
