96 England were poor versus Switzerland and first half v Scotland. Brilliant 2nd half v Scotland once Redknapp came on in midfield. Great versus Holland obviously. Really s**t v Spain who should have had a goal allowed and a pen. Then it was a really good but tight game v Germany.

2002? England were poor v Sweden in opener before an excellent win v Argentina. Fairly dodgy against Nigeria before beating Denmark comfortably. Dreadful once going 1-0 up against Brazil.
