it's ok, i lived there for over 7 years

lots to like and admire, like you say. we should do a list:

autobahns
sausages
beer
wilfred my next door neighbour
alte herren football
beer
excellent infrastructure
excellent sporting facilites
sausages
skiing

a few negatives though:

the mullet/denim waistcoat combo
david hasselhof
westhoffener kreuz

there might be some more of each
