Why the hell would an English manager make any diference?

Steve McLaren's the best around, and he spent all that cash on Ricketts, doesn't say much for his abitlity to pick a decent player.

besides they changed the rules on Friendlies over a year ago now.

Also it's not Sven's fault that Fergie, Wenger, Mourinho etc. have all stopped their best players going to the states, he's just doing the best he can with what he;s allowed to play with.

As for handing out caps, make that point to the Old guard ENGLISH stuffed shirts at the FA, they make the rules and have the abiltity to change them.

Caps should be awarded for competetive games ONLY IMHO.
