Half agree

I didn't watch much of the game (preferred the Wales one) but I heard the caravan chants clearly but not any booing. Take your word for it that it was loud though.

I wasn't making a point on degrees of racism just that the power relationship is an important factor. Difference between successful white banker being called honky/cracker and poor black unemployed kid being called a nigger.

At Chelsea we were booing Cole and Torres and Drogba but don't think it was racist (certainly not from me). Kick racism out of football doesn't mean banning booing black players, just booing them if they are black. Assuming Bulgaria were booing all of England's black players and they hadn't all somehow managed to piss off the crowd simultaneously (e.g. by diving) then that would be racist.
