All beer is cloudy, whether its wheat or barley derived; what is consistantly viewed as a good pint is wrongly perceived as being clear. A clear beer only exists because of finings (fish scales) introduced into the keg at secondary fermentation stage. A clear beer is only a result of a marketing exercise because there are a lot of people out there that have no idea what they are talking about or any knowledge or brewing. There is absolutely no difference in taste between cloudy and clear.
Its all because today, we drink from a glass and not a tankard, and to say that we have perfected a clear brew that is superior to wheat beer is ignorance driven by marketing.
