Quick match report...

Thought we were poor opening first 15 mins, looked very naive and unsettled - I thought we were going to be for a long afternoon. We did well to settle. There first was inevitable I am afraid, although you could say was a well taken goal - we will be punished like that - even away at the likes of Villa. Call me an Ipswich fan if you don't like to hear that - but maybe show up to a couple before throwing it about.

We did well to settle, but part of me know it was against a Chelsea side that has struggled to find form. West Brom, I thought had done well the week previously, but it is early days and Chelsea have done well to covert a few lacklustre performances into points on the board.

Holts goal was well taken, perfectly weighted, but was a gift. However a fair reflection of the run of play.

Morrison should have got a shot off, he needs to adjust to the pace at this level - it's not a practice this is it now - again naive. Sorry but it was.

Not sure about how I feel about being hit on the break for the penalty. Positive that we were forward, but was opened up like a kipper. Not advocating the worthington "shut up shop" approach - but we had one man behind the ball. It was a penalty and was symptomatic of how we have been playing.

Wasn't worried about the third - shame to concede it, but again inevitable at 10 men.
