house rule No 1: wise up on the workings of a washing machine.

Just had my siemens dishwasher show a fualt light. Manual said to "call technical help immediately and turn the bloody thing off at the wall before you burn down the whole of Droitwich you daft bastard."

thankfully its failed within its 2 year warrenty so getting it fixed for free!
