Thats a fair point but its also fair to say..........

that some of the rhetoric is a huge overeation to a stupid comment with zero malicious intent.

The intent was no greater than someone who says "Aesenal got killed yesterday"

Ex-footballers are not known as thoughtful wordsmiths.

Maybe we cut them a little slack when they f**k up.
