To be fair you article has a journo bias.

I totally agree that we need journos who do some great work in keeping those in power in check........

One problem........ who keeps the journos in check?

As we saw with the recent NOTW scandals, that power can lead to arrogance.

Personally its quite healthy that both sides get called out every now and again when they f**k up.
