Norwich city v Hull will be Nigel Worthingtons last in charge of the canaries. Managers being lined up to replace him are Kenny Jackett of Swansea, Martin Allen of Brentford or Adie Boothroyd of Watford.

Norwich City will sign John Halls, Indigo Idiakez and Lee Trundle in the January transfer window.

a shortlist for a striker to replace Big Al at newcastle's been drawn up by Graeme Souness and Freddy Shephard. it includes Dean Ashton, Carlos Tevez, Samuel Eto'o, Fernando Torres (the most likely seeing as they'd agreed a fee with Atletico Madrid for him in case the Owen deal fell through), Andy Johnson and Sidney Govou. Trundle or Ashton may join in january as cover for Shearer and Owen but none of the big names will join until the summer when they'll get a first team place partnering Owen.
