Never claimed Everton fans were a one off in regards to expectations.

Was just giving a reason why a section of their support are never satisfied. Think of all the toffee fans who are 45 plus and grew up watching Howard Kendall and witnessed the club grow into something special. Those same fans will always see Everton as a big club and will judge the club on those terms. The fact that they've never been out of the top flight doesn't help that image either. Leeds fans are c**ts but I could sort of understand their plight when they were in League 1, much like our own.
