I know we're playing Stoke and it's all about the big men

but this is far closer to the line-up and shape I imagined we would play most of the time.

I've thought for some time that we could get some joy in 4-2-3-1 with Johnson and Crofts mopping up an offensive midfield three of Pilkington/Surman - Hoolahan - Bennett, behind Holt or Morison.

Width, creativity through the middle and solid... what's not to like? Hoolahan for Martin second half?
