If I ran a pub, I'd make sure I took over the smallest boozer ever

one that would hold 75 people tops. That way the brewery or rates would have to be realistic

Then I'd make sure there was no tv at, no quiz machine either. Would probably have a cheap jukebox, and a pool table in the middle

Then would have at least 2 acoustic guitars on the wall

People would have to talk, or get involved with each other by playing pool, jamming, or talking
