and he used a load of quotes that Simon Jordan had said about Dario Gradi not wanting to be Palace manager before dowie eventually went there, but worded it to try and make it look like he was talking about Ashton not joining...I think the link to the original article by Simon Jordan was posted on here just a few days before..
