Mixed emotions following that match really...

I thought we were not at the races today. Lots of loose play, we appeared to sort this out for the 10mins following HT but then we lost our way again. I think Martinez knew his side were there for the taking judging by his post match comments. We could easily had lost it in the last few mins though so got to be happy with that.

Half the team played pretty well...Ruddy, De Laet, Crofts, Tierney and Morison, probably the top 5. Morison MOTM - great work on the goal, warrior.

Holt was very poor but he will be back to his best next weekend I reckon. Wes was a bit slow at times but took his chance well for the goal and did well to be there. He will get better with more experience at Prem level. Surman, very quiet and had 3 decent shooting opportunties...he will also have better days. R.Martin has a tough job in this team anyday and was up against Moses who looked like he?s stepped his game up now N?Zgobia has gone.

Stoke will be tough to break down next week but with home crowd and perhaps a bit more attacking belief we can find a way to get the 3pts we really need to get the confidence going and points on the board. Good news that QPR and Blackburn both started with worse results...

I know reading this back it is hardly insightful stuff but thought I would post anyway. Looking forward to having a proper look at this team in our next 2 games proper live. OTBC. NMTD.
