Speaking of this year's signings vs last Prem ones, and pace:

Naughton vs Helveg
De Laet vs Charlton
Bennett vs Jonson
Pilkington vs Stuart
Morison vs Ginger Pele
Vaughan vs Bentley
Johnson vs Safri

Not to mention the pace we already have in the squad. I think last time we went up the only pacy players we had in the starting 11 were Hucks and arguably McKenzie but he wasn't really out and out pacy. Francis was quite good at getting from box to box I suppose. Seriously I am struggling to think of anyone else pacy. Jonson was meant to be but I didn't see much evidence of it from what I remember.

Well, last one might be similar. Think Safri was a better player from limited stuff I have seen of Johnson, but nowhere near as committed. Johnson might be the Holt-in-his-prime figure we needed in the Premiership last time.
