That whole Lansbury rumour...

Basically, someone claims to have a seen a subsequently deleted tweet from Angela which read "Is it time for a new chapter, hmmm".

While it does sound like him, there is no proof that this tweet every existed. Tweleted no longer works, and if you google the very text, you only find references and rehashes of the Arseblog story (word for word).

It seems that the person who writes the Arseblog thing has taken that to mean a potential permanent move, then has simply jumped to the conclusion that it might be us simply because of his time with us last season.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does go, but to somewhere like Fulham or QPR instead. We know he liked to pop back down to London quite often to see his family and friends so I can imagine him not wanting to go too far North (but again, that's me speculating as much as the Arseblog writer).

Would be quite happy to see him join, but I think Lambert has already made his signings. He may well have gone after him had he felt he had a chance earlier in the pre-season.
