I have been promoted !

As some of you know I do a bit of cricket umpiring here in the South West of France, in what is known as the national league.

Well I have been bumped up to superleague which is basically a lot of Paris teams, i think there is 8 teams. They are 4 pakistani teams, 3 indian teams and a sri lankan team. They are of a very high standard and are very competitive. My job is going to get a lot harder!

Next step for my umpiring will be umpiring the french national team or other in their european group. Mind you I dont think that is going to happen soon. However I have got age on my side!

I'm made up about this, I just wanted to share my joy!
