I have a few theories as to the score.

Previous friendlies:

No cup of tea from any of my various collection of 'lucky' NC mugs. Result = hat full of goals

Tonight's friendly:

Cup of tea from Paul Lambert mug and Grant Holt mug. Result = lost to Palace.

It's most likely the PL mug to blame as I have only had that since late June. The Horse mug was pretty reliable last season.
