we have enough room to bring in a keeper but Lambert seems happy.

My thinking is that he was pretty happy to have Rudd and Steer as back ups in the champs.

He could have easilly brought in a loan journeyman keeper but didnt.

I could be totally wrong but I dont see Lambert bringing in a keeper just to back up Ruddy.

The advantage of Rudd is that he also is outside the 25 man squad rules freeing up another spot.

John Ruddy is only 4 years older than Rudd and only has 81 mins more PL experience.
