Did we learn anything from yesterdays game?

In a word.... not much.

In the Gorleston match Ritchie was paired with Whitbread and Ward was paired with Barnett

In the first German game Ritchie was paired with Barnett....

Also the 2nd half formation was a strange 1 up top type formation.

It would seem they are trying out various things.
I dont think Lambert has ever had so many quality options in various positions.

I think we will have a clear picture on what Paul Lambert has in mind in the last 2 pre-season games which should be by far the toughest tests.
