Anyone think the Pre-season may be a little bit much?

Obviously we can put out more than two full stength teams so no player has to play more than 45 mins.

July 23rd FSV Wacker Nordhausen
July 26th Crystal Palace
July 28th Southend United
July 30th Coventry City
Aug 3rd Real Zaragoza
Aug 6th Parma FC

I cant remember us having as tough a pre-season in the past.
8 games in 21 days with a ton of travelling

Lambert mentioned after yesterdays game that he has a few minor contact injuries already (nothing serious) due to the tough training
The non appearence of Whitbread suggests he was one of those.
