Agree with you though - fact that he's started both games so far suggests that PL is having a look at him, at least. (Assuming NC isn't injured.)

As I say, would be great if PL thought he was ready for the prem this season, and so we didn't have to spend.
Big jump for someone who's basically never played professional footie though.
