Yep - November/December 1997, sent from work to the lads that had left early doors to get

to the pub, saying "I'll be there in half an hour, get me a pint you tight c**ts." Talbot and Falcon, Wakefield town centre, near the bus station.

Not only was it the first text I'd ever sent, it was the first text the lad had ever recieved. I had an old Nokia 2110, and scroll through the menu I saw "Send Text Message" or something, and thought "I can send text messages? I'll try it out."

Boom. Mind like a bacon slicer. Forensic. Eidetic.
