It turns people into sort of local s**t celebrities, doesn't it.

And it would be bloody hard to keep that amount quiet.

But generally i agree. Why would you want to do anything to encourage thousands of begging letters, rubbish relatives crawling out of the woodwork, general resentment and jelousy, phone hacking...etc

you might get some nice clump trying to have a go on you though
