Funny thing is with 1700 on the waiting list you would assume there would be a few who get them but on the plus side the club makes FAR more money selling those seats via the supermembership casual scheme and events such as "canary experience" type deals.
Assuming this is the only work that goes on (and we dont add any temp seats in front of the hotel)
Official capacity will be around 27,150
Against Ipswich we had 26,532, which is close to our "real" matchday capacity after wastage and keeping the fans seperate.
Meaning a totally full house (home and away fans) will now be around 26,882.
21,833 ST holders
away fans 2715 (2688) depends if based on capacity or real capacity. I am guessing the later. You cant count seats you cant sell.
Looking at that you would say
26,882 -21,833-2688 = 2361 casual seats.
The club is only obligated to give 5% (1344)
So that means another 1000 on the ST waiting list will get a ticket....... right.............
Errrrrrr....... probably wrong.
Considering every single seat will sell out regardless the club makes A LOT more money selling the seats as special events and on a casual basis (especially if we include the supermembership fee)
Cant blame them for holding back tickets vs Man Utd and Chelsea and selling them as an event package
