Dunno. It has become so mainstream these days that it has had the opposite

effect on me.

Now I don't really care whether it is cheap or expensive, I only buy things if they are worth that amount to me.

And then I'll of course shop around to see what the real going price is in case it turns out I can get it for even less than it is worth for me.
