re-sale value is overlooked..... Thats why I was worried about the price for CMS in March

If the worst happens next season we will have a few players who will want to leave with PL experience who will have a lot of resale value.
Giving PL another war chest to go again.

Some might be worried about the amount of money we are spending but if you look at the big picture the players are probably going to be good investments if we stay up or not. especially because of their age.
