Your techy problem sounds like it might be a resource issue.
Basically your PC is running out of available RAM.
This can be caused by serveral things -
Memory seepage, programs not shutting down properly and still drawing on RAM,
Also some anti virus programs are notorious for this.
Control, Alt, Delete and click on tasks tab and close anlything that looks like a mainstream program that you have previously closed.
If you can get a copy of Advanced Windows Care by Iobit on you PC run it (and run it once a week)
In remove programs uninstall any old s**t that youve installed but never use.
Advanced Windows Care is the daddy.
