Our targets are generally the best players at various clubs. We will have to pay over the odds to a certain extent. That's the way football is.

Of course we shouldn't bow down to Bates....but we may have to swallow our pride and meet him half way. We all know that Snodgrass is probably the best player in The Champs.

Why did Bowkett say all the ?39 mill is available for the playing budget if we are not going to get one or two marquee signings? Of course, that includes wages etc....but still, we need more Prem class to have a chance.
