June 24: Hearts react to Craig Thomson being placed on the sex offenders register by releasing a statement that, among other things, blames the club's woes on 'the result of targeted actions of a mafia' who wish to 'undermine us in every possible way they can.' They also point to a media that has 'omitted' various facts and created an inaccurate view of the situation.

June 27: MacB, one of Hearts' sponsors, announce they are withdrawing their support from the club.

June 28: Hearts suspend Thomson with immediate effect.
