great place, excellent people, loads of culture, lots of superb bars and places to go. But, terrible inflation (somewhere between 25% and 40%) and very bad crime now - people getting murdered for pennies, shot in carjackings and kidnapped, often being murdered regardless of whether ransom is paid.

The money was good, but you rely on your company/boss to keep giving you payrises to keep up with inflation, i.e. if you piss your boss off your wage will drop by 25-40% a year
