My particular favourite ticketing technique is that there remain 8000 unsold tickets for, for example, the 100m mens final. Just in case they've done the sums wrong and can't get a safety certificate or similar. When they get all these, they'll be sold, first come, first served to ANYONE whether you applied before or not.

Oh and I love they way LOCOG are exempt from FOI. Because they are a private company. 100% owned by UK plc.
