Have seen a lot of "underwhelmed" by our transfers postings just lately.

Do a lot of Norwich fans really feel like that?

I think the signings have been great so far and out targets perfect for what we need.

It would seem some want signings that would rip the heart out of the team. (or rip all the money from our bank account!)

I love the fact we havnt gone for either foreign exports who havnt played in the English Leagues or over the hill "experienced" footballers who are looking for one last big contract.

Interestingly I am seeing a definite shift in the promoted teams thinking this year.

There are a ton of PL free agents in every position yet they arnt being snapped up.
Instead clubs are going for younger/hungry players from the champs.
The vast majority of the top scorers in the champs last season will be playing in the PL next season.
I think Shane Long will be snapped up before the end of the window also.

Assuming the following sign/have signed

Vaughan
Morsion
Bennet
De Laet
Johnson

If we could sign a player like Snodgrass or Pacheco plus a quality CB, that would make for some very nice squad additions.
I would also assume we are looking for some experienced cover in the GK position as well but that should be fairly easy to find.

The bottom line is based on the signings so far, our squad is MUCH stronger than last season.
We will have more quality in virtually every area.

The fact we have done this without spending crazy money is very pleasing.
