we arnt going to have a set system next season.
I think Lambert is looking at players that allow him to be very flexible in the system he puts out.
He is going to make it very difficult for the opposition to figure us out.
I think he is going to rotate the squad a little more than he has done in the past.
We can get away with it as nobody knows what our strongest 11 is so the PL cant punish us for putting out a precieved weaker side.
I think the one thing that disappointed Lambert was the lack of attacking options from the right hand side last season.
Up front we have both pace (Jackson/Vaughan) and the abilty for strength (Holt/ Morison)
This gives us a number of options.
Midfield we have tons of skill/pace on both sides now but are maybe looking for the 2nd Wes roaming player like a Snodgrass or Pacheco.
At the back is the most worrying area for me.
RM looks great but we dont have much in the way of experienced cover for him.
3 CBs is barely enough for 1 game let alone a whole PL season.
Some very big questions at LB.
Do we have enough quality and reliability in that area?
Overall very happy with the 3 signings so far and its only the middle of June.
I like the fact we are going with younger talent even if its a bit unproven.
Including loans I expect us to make 7-8 signings in total.
